Speed Courier and Logistics is inviting applications from suitably qualified, hardworking, trust worthy and self-motivated individuals to fill the following positions at our Lilongwe Branch:
1. NIGHT SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2 POSITIONS)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise all night shift operations.
- Monitor parcel loading, unloading, and sorting activities.
- Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of parcels.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and security measures.
- Manage and coordinate night shift staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts.
2. LOADER (SEVERAL POSITIONS)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and offload parcels from vehicles.
- Sort and arrange parcels according to destinations.
- Ensure proper handling of customer goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
- Assist with stock and parcel counts when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy parcels.
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking.
- Previous experience in courier, logistics, or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
3. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records.
- Prepare payment vouchers and reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory submissions.
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Support the Accounts Department with administrative duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
4. MARKETING OFFICER (1 POSITION)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote the company's courier and logistics services.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare marketing reports and market research findings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Previous marketing experience will be an added advantage.
5.BIKE RIDERS
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver parcels, documents, and packages to customers within assigned routes.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of all consignments.
- Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
- Perform daily inspections of assigned motorcycles and report any faults.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Handle parcels with care to prevent damage or loss.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Valid Motorcycle Rider's License.
- At least one year of riding experience will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Knowledge of local routes and locations
