Position: LV Distribution Network Analyst - 7

Grade: ES12

Location: Regional Offices

Supervised by: Regional Coordinators

Duration: 6 months

Purpose of the Job

To analyze, monitor, and optimize the Low Voltage (LV) electricity distribution network to enhance system reliability, efficiency, safety, and customer service delivery.

Key Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

1. A minimum of a Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
2. Advanced Computer Skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Ability to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze LV network performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
2. Monitor network loading, power quality, and voltage profiles.
3. Conduct technical studies and prepare reports on network reliability and operational efficiency.
4. Assess network constraints and recommend corrective actions.
5. Maintain and update network databases, GIS, and related analytical systems.
6. Develop forecasts for electricity demand and network capacity requirements.
7. Collaborate with field teams in investigating network faults and service interruptions.
