Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions Tenable at Chuluchosema Health Centre and Umodzi Clinic in Zomba District.
1. ACCOUNTANT/ADMNISTRATOR (GRADE K) – 2 POSTS
Duties/responsibilities
- To directs the daily operations of the Facility
- Establishing the organizational goals
- Planning and implementing programs, such as human resources administration.
- Overseeing finances and related operations such as budget planning, authorizing expenses, and creating financial reports.
- Communicating with staff, departments, and board members
- Monitoring Resource use and allocation.
- Ensuring that facility is up to standard and meet current regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements: Qualifications And Experince
- Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration obtained from a recognized training institution.
- MSCE
- Good work experience for more than 3 years
- Good knowledge on HMIS
- Good analytical, advisory and networking skills
- Must have good Christian values
- Accurate in data collection.
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel)
- Good Management skills
- Age between 25-40 years
2. CLINICAL OFFICER (GRADE K) – 3 POSTS
Duties /Responsibilities
- Conduct patient’s examination, diagnosis and treatment.
- Supervision of medical and support staff.
- Processing, disseminating of information to all stake holders including submission of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
- Referring patients to DHO
- Liaising with senior Health Surveillance assistant on communicable diseases, prevention and control.
- Procurement of drugs and other suppliers in consultation with health centre management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized training institution.
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi.
- Well trained as an ART -Clinician
- Good Knowledge on HMIS
- Not less than 3 years’ experience.
- Good Communication and reporting skills
- Good Management Skills
3. NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIANS (GRADE K) - 7 POSTS
Duties/responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients according to Malawi Nursing Council ethics Planning, organizing and implementation of :
- Family planning sessions
- Ante-Natal and under five Clinic sessions
- Monitoring of family health activities both at static outreach clinics
- In charge of Maternity ward
- Drug administration as ordered by clinical Officer
- Ensure patient’s records are updated and properly stored
- Report arising matters to the Clinical officer
Job Requirements
- Nurse Midwife Technician
- Diploma in Nursing and Midwife
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
- Must have good communication and reporting skills
4. PHARMACY ASSISTANT (GRADE L) – 1 POST
Job Requirements
- Certificate in Pharmacy
- Pharmacy MRA Licence
- MSCE
5. HOME CRAFT WORKER (GRADE L) - 1 POST
Duties /Responsibilities
- Preparing Nutritious food for patients
