Position: Part Time French Teacher

Hilltop Academy is an international high school located in Blantyre–Limbe, offering the Cambridge curriculum at both IGCSE and A Level. The school is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Part Time French Teacher to join our academic team.

Part Time French Teacher

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and deliver French lessons in line with the Cambridge syllabus.
Use a wide range of teaching styles and integrate technology effectively during lessons.
Maintain accurate assessment records and monitor student progress and achievement.
Set, mark, and provide feedback on exercises and examinations for French classes.
Prepare learning materials, participate in exam administration, and attend staff/academic meetings when required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Education Languages (BEd) or Bachelor of Arts (BA).
Major in French with minor in English or Humanities.
Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
Experience teaching French at KS3 level.
Excellent ICT skills and ability to use technology in teaching.
Well-organized, professional, and committed to student achievement.
