Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following full-time positions:

Job Title: Risk Analyst

Location: Blantyre

Deadline: Tuesday, 8th July 2025

Role Purpose:
As Risk Analyst, you’ll support TNM’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks affecting the company. You will play a key role in creating value through a proactive risk culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate enterprise-wide risk assessments and support business units in identifying and mitigating risks

• Conduct scenario analyses and stress testing

• Analyze emerging risks, track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

• Draft Risk Appetite & Tolerance Statements

• Monitor risk mitigation activities, policy adherence, and crisis management processes

• Enforce Business Continuity Management (BCM) procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years' experience in risk management
• Certifications like CRMA, CRISC, CISA, or CIA (preferred)
• Familiarity with risk tools, data analytics, and ERM frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO)

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong reporting and communication abilities

• Ability to work across departments and influence decision-making

Job Title: Power & Generator Maintenance Engineer (South Region)

Location: South Region, Malawi
Deadline: Tuesday, 8th July 2025

Role Purpose:
Ensure TNM's power infrastructure, including diesel/petrol generators and electrical systems, operates reliably through effective maintenance, repairs, and new installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on generators and power systems

• Install and commission new power infrastructure

• Conduct load testing and performance evaluations

• Maintain proper records and spare parts inventories

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and technical standards

• Monitor Remote Management Systems (RMS) for performance

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Degree is an added advantage)
• 2–3 years' hands-on experience with generator systems
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, rectifiers, and batteries
• Safety training or certification (added advantage)

Skills:

• Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

• Knowledge of telecom power systems

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Job Title: RAN Operations Engineer (Karonga)

Location: Karonga, Northern Malawi
Deadline: Tuesday, 8th July 2025

Role Purpose:
Support and maintain TNM's mobile network infrastructure in the North by managing RAN, transmission, and power systems to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on base stations, transmission, and power systems

• Respond to network alarms and perform health checks

• Monitor site fuel levels, escalate power issues, and ensure fuel deliveries

• Support project implementation and equipment commissioning

• Maintain tools, spares, and security on telecom sites

• Generate daily and weekly maintenance reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering
• 1–2 years’ experience in mobile/telecom infrastructure maintenance
• Familiarity with GSM/LTE, power systems, and DC battery/solar backup systems
• Valid driver’s license required

Skills:

• Attention to detail

• Reliability under minimal supervision

• Knowledge of safety protocols and telecom tools
