Islamic Zakaat Fund (IZF) - Tertiary Scholarship Support 2026

The Islamic Zakaat Fund (IZF) invites applications from Zakaat-eligible students selected for degree programmes at the following institutions:

  1. Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS)
  2. Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES)
  3. Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST)
  4. University of Malawi (UNIMA)
  5. Domasi College of Education
  6. Nalikule College of Education
  7. Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR)
  8. Mzuzu University (MZUNI)
  9. Iqra University
  10. Catholic University (CU)
  11. Malamulo College of Health Sciences
  12. Malawi College of Health Sciences (MCHS)

Applicants must be Zakaat-eligible and have confirmed being selected to a university or college. Each applicant will be required to submit the following documents:

  1. One passport-size photograph (image)
  2. Copy of MSCE certificate (PDF)
  3. Copy of National ID (PDF)
  4. Recommendation letter (PDF)
  5. Admission letter (PDF)

All applications should be completed and submitted online through the following link: https://bursary.izfmalawi.org/

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Only complete applications will be considered.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
  • Applications are open to first-, second-, and third-year students only.
