Applications are now open for the 2026 One Young World Leading Scholarship, a prestigious opportunity for outstanding young leaders from underrepresented countries to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
The scholarship is designed to identify and support young changemakers who are driving positive social, economic, environmental, or community impact and are committed to building a more sustainable and inclusive world.
The summit will take place from 3–6 November 2026 and will bring together young leaders, global decision-makers, business executives, policymakers, and social innovators from around the world.
The One Young World Leading Scholarship provides exceptional young leaders with the opportunity to join the global One Young World community and engage with thousands of fellow changemakers working to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
Scholars will gain access to leadership development opportunities, global networks, mentorship, and a platform to amplify the impact of their work.
Young people are increasingly leading innovative solutions to challenges in areas such as education, climate action, entrepreneurship, governance, technology, health, and social inclusion. However, many talented young leaders lack access to global platforms where they can share ideas, build partnerships, and influence decision-making.
The One Young World Leading Scholarship helps bridge this gap by connecting emerging leaders with a powerful international network of changemakers, business leaders, and policymakers. For young professionals, entrepreneurs, activists, and community leaders, the scholarship offers a unique opportunity to gain global exposure, expand their impact, and collaborate with peers from around the world.
