Position: Food & Beverage Controls Clerk

Sunbird Tourism plc, Malawi's leading hotel group, invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals who are passionate about advancing their careers to fill the vacant positions tenable at various Sunbird Hotels and Resorts.

FOOD & BEVERAGE CONTROLS CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Check bills from restaurant and bars.
2. Verify Front Office postings.
3. Track bill books and order pads issued.
4. Perform spot checks in the Service areas.
5. Conduct physical Food & Beverage counts every ten days.
6. Update prices in Food & Beverage stock sheets and Communicate changes in Food and Beverage stock prices to Management.
7. Maintain proper filing system.

Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:

1. Diploma in Accounting from any institution recognized by NCHE.
2. A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in English and Mathematics.
3. 2 years' experience in a related capacity.
4. High level of ethics and analytical character.
