Position: Education Assistant project officer volunteer

About us

Migration and Society (MASO) is a Malawian non-governmental organisation committed to promoting the rights, well-being and socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable and underserved communities. MASO implements programmes in areas including safe migration, education, women's economic empowerment, youth development, financial literacy and community development.

MASO is inviting applications from passionate, committed and motivated individuals to join its team as volunteers in the following position:

EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROJECT OFFICER

Qualification

1. Diploma or Degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support planning and implementation of education projects.
2. Engage schools, teachers, learners, parents and communities.
3. Support beneficiary mobilisation and stakeholder engagement.
4. Assist with education awareness and capacity-building activities.
5. Monitor project activities and collect relevant data.
6. Document achievements, challenges and success stories.
7. Prepare activity reports and project documentation.

General requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

1. Good communication and teamwork skills.
2. Report writing and documentation skills.
3. Computer literacy.
4. Creativity and initiative.
5. Commitment to community development and social change.
6. Willingness to learn and grow.
