The hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Patient Attendant.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clean hospital wards, offices, toilets and surrounding areas.
2. Assist with moving patients, equipment and supplies.
3. Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital procedures.
4. Support ward activities during busy periods and emergencies.
5. Maintain the cleanliness of medical equipment.
6. Follow safety and infection prevention and control procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with six credits.
2. At least two years of experience in a similar position.
3. Must be a practising Christian.
4. Must have a traceable record.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration

A competitive remuneration package in line with the Government of Malawi salary scale will be offered to the successful candidate.
