Project: Ending Child Marriage Mobile Response Team (ECM-MRT)

Overview
Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO), in partnership with UNICEF Malawi, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of District Coordinator under the Ending Child Marriage Mobile Response Team (ECM-MRT) programme.
The programme aims to accelerate the reduction of child marriage in Malawi through a community-based approach focusing on case response, referral systems, and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 5 years' relevant work experience.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, Power BI, SPSS, Epi-Info).
- Experience working with NGOs and donor-funded projects.
- Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and child protection case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of the ECM programme at district level.
- Strengthen coordination with government departments and stakeholders.
- Support child protection referral systems and emergency response mechanisms.
- Facilitate district planning, coordination meetings, and programme reviews.
- Monitor programme implementation and prepare quality reports.
- Strengthen Monitoring & Evaluation systems and conduct data quality assessments.
- Build the capacity of Mobile Response Teams and frontline workers.
- Document programme success stories, lessons learnt, and case studies.

- Strong analytical, research, and report writing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ending child marriage and gender programming.
