Takondwa Farms is seeking for a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to lead the Operations of it's Commercial Farm in Namitete.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage all day-to-day farm activities, including land preparation, planting, crop Management, irrigation, harvesting and post harvest process.
• Operate, monitor and Maintain center Pivot irrigation system for optimal water use efficiency
• Supervise and train farm staff, labourers and machine operator to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor crop performance, diagnose issues and implement solutions to maximize field and quality
• Maintain and oversee the service of all farm equipment and machinery.
• Track and manage budgets, input use and productivity metrics
• Ensure compliance with environmental,health, and safety regulations.
• Adopt and implement modern sustainable agricultural practices.
