Position: Marketing Officer (Intern)

Location: Lilongwe

Worketech Limited is inviting applications for two internship positions based in Lilongwe: Marketing Officer (Intern) and Administrative Officer (Intern). Both internships run for six months, and successful interns will be eligible for consideration for full-time employment upon successful completion. The positions report to the Director of Worketech Limited or a designated supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
2. Conduct market research and identify business opportunities.
3. Manage Worketech's social media platforms and online presence.
4. Create and publish engaging marketing content.
5. Develop and maintain content calendars.
6. Monitor social media performance and engagement.
7. Maintain consistent brand messaging.
8. Prepare marketing materials and promotional content.
9. Support outreach campaigns, customer surveys, and feedback collection.
10. Track marketing performance and recommend improvements.

Key Requirements

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or brand communication is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Good content creation and copywriting skills.
6. Creative thinking and campaign planning abilities.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data.
8. Strong attention to detail and brand awareness.
9. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
10. Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar) are an added advantage.

General Requirements

1. Energetic and proactive individual with the ability to work under pressure.
2. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
3. Conversant with computer software relevant to the role.
4. Aged 18–30 years.
5. Preferably based in Lilongwe.

Internship Duration

1. 6-month internship.
2. Successful interns will be eligible for consideration for permanent employment after completion of the internship.
