Position: Security Officers (2)
Reporting to: Security and Surveillance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the Umodzi Park premises (Both Interior and Exterior)
- Identify risk areas on daily Security Checklist received from security shift Officer by assessing security risk of the complex and access posts.
- Assist Police with enquires by providing access to CCTV footage and recording. Provide guests with advice with regards to security and care for possessions.
- Exercise discipline in conjunction with Human Resources Manager, report staff incidents that does not fall in line with company’s policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and oversight to outsourced security guards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be in possession of a Diploma in Security studies or its equivalent; with not less than 6 years of working experience notably from the Malawi Police Services or Malawi Defence Force.
- Excellent knowledge of investigative skills and practices with attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the usage of computer and relevant security software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Fair understanding of the criminal procedure and evidence code.
- Must be conversant with modern corporate governance practices including reporting.
