Position: Software Engineer (2)

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Main Duties

Analyzing, reviewing and documenting client requirements
Designing, development, coding, testing and debugging of systems
Ensuring that software is developed with strict adherence to standards as well as client specifications
Conducting system demonstration and training for technical and non-technical users
Providing user support for all systems (in-house and off-shelf), timely escalating issues where necessary
Developing and maintaining software documentation, user manuals and training materials
Keeping abreast with new software development technologies

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant field
Minimum of 3 years working experience in software programming using various technologies (PHP, C#, .NET, Laravel, Java, ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, jQuery)
Sound knowledge of proprietary and opensource database management systems (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB)
Experience in mobile application development
