Job Title: Steam & Power Generation Engineer

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience in water tube boilers and power generation
- Sugar production experience
- Fully proficient on the maintenance requirement of Occupational Safety, Health and Welfare Act, (Statutory maintenance, inspections, legal appointments)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring optimal performance of all boilers and power steam systems in the sugar manufacturing
- Responsible for engineering input in terms of equipment settings for the season such as Boilers and power steam systems
- Responsible for the S&PG Engineering input to the Maintenance head in terms of repair solutions and supervision/ co-ordination of repairs to critical equipment/ Abnormal projects
- Responsible for S&PG Engineering input into Capital Abnormal & Maintenance projects
- Responsible for Maintenance improvements to optimize efficiency and output of boilers and power steam systems achieving reliability criteria within maintenance budget
- Implementing performance and stat tests in line with design performance
- Driving synergies with the Group, effectively partnering with Group counterparts to identify, share and embed opportunities for engineering
- Developing Season and Off-Crop S&PG budgets with Maintenance Head, finance business partner, optimization team, and manage allocated budgets, including cost effective management of resources
- Promoting and adhering to Illovo's procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competitive Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
