Position: Resource Mobilization volunteer

About us

Migration and Society (MASO) is a Malawian non-governmental organisation committed to promoting the rights, well-being and socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable and underserved communities. MASO implements programmes in areas including safe migration, education, women's economic empowerment, youth development, financial literacy and community development.

MASO is inviting applications from passionate, committed and motivated individuals to join its team as volunteers in the following positions:

RESOURCE MOBILIZATION VOLUNTEER (2)

Qualification

1. Diploma or Degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support proposal, concept note and funding application development.
2. Identify donors, funding opportunities and potential partners.
3. Conduct donor and funding opportunity research.
4. Support fundraising and resource mobilisation initiatives.
5. Assist with marketing, branding and organisational communication.
6. Support creation of visual and digital content to increase MASO's visibility.
7. Support development of organisational profiles, presentations and marketing materials.
8. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with donors and partners.

Key Skills

1. Strong proposal writing, research, marketing, communication, networking and computer skills.

General requirements

4. Creativity and initiative.
5. Commitment to community development and social change.
6. Willingness to learn and grow.
