Malawi Airlines is the national flag carrier that operates B737-700, B737-800 and Q400 Aircrafts having direct flights to regional cities of Johannesburg; Lusaka; Harare, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam; besides daily domestic flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre. To keep our promise and in line with our growth strategy, the airline intends to recruit;
JUNIOR CABIN CREW (LILONGWE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the position of Junior Cabin Crew based in Lilongwe. The position holder will be reporting to Cabin Crew Administrator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that cabin safety and security is in accordance to Malawi Airlines Policy and standard and other regulatory requirements.
• Provision of optimum comfort and service to passengers with courtesy, efficiency, thoughtfulness and ready assistance in conformity with the Malawi Airlines standard.
• Ensuring that all travel documents and manuals are updated and readily on hand.
• Observes all safety regulations at all times including company regulations, Government directives and other regulatory bodies.
• Complies with all policies, procedures and regulations specified for the position in Malawi Airlines Security Manual.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Travel and Tourism (IATA) or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry
• Those with a Cabin Crew Certificate will have added advantage.
• High level proven integrity.
